Images in various regions of the spectrum are an integral part of JPL's contribution to NASA and DoD science. MDL also designs, fabricates, characterizes, and delivers mid-wavelength and long-wavelength infrared cameras for custom applications and space exploration. This group also offers large format HOT-MWIR and LWIR BIRD focal planes and high-performance multi-band and broadband infrared imaging solutions. State of the art technologies, designs, system integration, and instrumentation developers can provide mission critical imaging capabilities. Selected imaging products developed by this group at JPL and some imaging products developed in collaboration with other institutions are shown in the following figures.
